The Spiritual Art of Surrender: Why Divine Timing Asks More of You Than Control Ever Could

Using astrology to plan and strategise your life is actually missing the point….

Spending the recent eclipse at Dzogchen Beara felt quietly profound.

An intimate retreat with the Earth.
Space to arrive back into myself and integrate everything that’s been moving — ironically, right in the middle of even more movement and change.

I didn’t plan to be here because of the eclipse.
And that just added to the magic

Astrology isn’t something I use to plan or strategise my life

I understand why people do. But to me this misses the deeper point

Trying to mentally calculate the “right” moment for everything reeks of the separation wound — the belief that we need to manipulate life in order for it to work

But when we remember we’re part of a living, intelligent whole, this type of urgent strategising doesn’t make sense

When we remember our innate interconnection

There’s less effort.
Less fear about getting things “right”.

Instead, the ‘clever’ thing to do then becomes trust.
What we work at is Attunement

  • A relaxing back into

  • And learning to work-with

The question is then about Harmonising, not control

Harmony in your relationship with yourself, with life, with the deeper rhythms of consciousness that astrology is simply reflecting

When we live in harmony with those rhythms, of course we end up in the right place at the right time to experience the magic

The real gift of astrology isn’t control

It’s remembering we’re part of a deeper choreography than the mind could ever plan

And the wonder and enchantment brought by these glimpses into the vast mystery of life

And learning how to listen

This is the kind of listening I explore with people inside my psychospiritual mentorship — a space for slowing down, deep attunement, and reconnecting with your own inner intelligence.
